In Tapada do Chaves there are two of the oldest vineyard plots in Alentejo, in production, with records from 1901 for red vines and 1903 for white vines
Grape variety: Aragonez, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet
Region: Alentejo
Tasting Notes: Garnet colour of medium concentration. Very fresh and with great aromatic complexity, red berries, undergrowth, rockrose, wax, earth and some leather. In the mouth it is extremely elegant, with volume, rusticity and very expressive ripe fruit. Robust, firm tannins and good acidity, very classic profile
