Product Info
The “farrapo”, a garment worn by the Capuchin friars in the 16th century, in the Chapel of S. Bento, in Vila de Frades, among vineyards, pontificates the essence of the spiritual in the face of the ephemeral nature of the material. It is a unique wine and to appreciate this nectar is to open all the windows of the soul, to taste the inner richness of something genuine, produced in clay jars, just as the Romans did two thousand years ago.
Varieties: Antão Vaz, Perrum and Syria (Wardrobe)
Region: Alentejo (Town of Frades)
Tasting Notes: Golden color, delicate white fruit and clay notes are the most evident. Hints of tangerine, aromatic herbs and marzipan emerge discreetly. In the mouth it has density and structure, some tannin and flavor of the skins with moderate acidity.
Alcohol Content: 14% Vol.
