This wine is the result of a field blend of grapes from a single vineyard planted over 70 years ago. In this sense, we can say that this wine is essentially conceived in the vineyard, and the entire winemaking process at the winery aims to reveal the unique characteristics of these grapes with minimal intervention. The blend of grape varieties and the high-altitude terroir with stony schist soil are extraordinary conditions for achieving unique wines of great character. The year 2020 was extraordinary, providing excellent ripeness at this altitude. Only 998 bottles of this exclusive wine were produced in this vintage.

Grape Varieties: Dozens of red and white grape varieties, with Bastardo, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Mourisca predominating among the red varieties.

Region: Douro

Tasting notes: Aromatic complexity and elegant structure. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits, spices, and toast stand out. On the palate, it is complex, full-bodied, balanced, and persistent, with soft tannins and refreshing acidity.
