In Tapada do Chaves there are two of the oldest vineyard plots in Alentejo, in production, with records from 1901 for red vines and 1903 for white vines

Tasting Notes: Garnet colour. Very complex aroma, with black fruit, plum, fig and sour cherry, highlighted in a more rustic profile by hints of rockrose, earth, pine, wax, and also some tobacco and leather, more subtle. Balanced and elegant structure, with firm acidity and very present, very fine tannins. Rich, long and very complex finish, with an extraordinary expression of terroir and character
