Product Info
The vines used to make this wine are around 25 to 60 years old. They grow on granite soils and produce a production that never exceeds 4.5 tonnes per hectare. The result is a very typical Dão wine that reflects its genuine terroir and “sense of place”
Grape variety: Jaen, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro
Region: Dão
Tasting Notes: A very refined and fresh red wine. It has a mineral and earthy character, light pepper and some red fruit. It is quite faithful to its forest aromas on the palate, with resinous notes accompanying the fresh red fruit, and with velvety and textured tannins, very fine and slightly spicy from the stems. Gastronomic and with a dry and long finish. It ages for an even more elegant profile
