The grapes for this Castelão come from a 75-year-old vineyard, planted in poor, well-drained sandy "heath" soils.
Grape variety: Old Castelão Vines
Region: Tejo
Tasting notes: Ruby color, aromas of red fruits and small berries, some balsamic notes and light toast. The palate is intense and has good volume, presenting ripe and silky tannins, with an elegant, very fresh and intense finish.
Alcohol Content: 13.5% Vol.
Awards: Best Castelão in the Tagus (2024)
