The Roquette & Cazes project is above all a meeting of two friends: Jorge Roquette from Quinta do Crasto and Jean-Michel Cazes from Château Lynch-Bages. In 2002, the two families decided to create a company to produce great wines that would be marked by the natural characteristics of the Douro and the experience of the Cazes who have been making wines in Bordeaux for almost a century. A winemaking adventure that combines the power and sunshine of Portugal with the elegance of Bordeaux

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz

Region: Douro

Tasting Notes: A Douro wine with excellent aromatic complexity, with notes of very clean red fruits, elegant spices and soft balsamic notes. It starts off very elegantly on the palate, evolving into a wine with excellent volume and structure composed of velvety tannins
