Since the 15th century, the Porta dos Cavaleiros has stood as a solid wall in the city of Viseu, under the firm protection of Saint John the Baptist, its guardian. It is in the light of this timeless wall that this minimalist intervention wine was created, whose long aging in barrels and bottles has given it the long-lasting elegance of the reference created over 60 years ago by Caves São João. After a two-decade hiatus, they have launched a new edition of this Reserva, in the image of old wines, created to last over time.
