This wine is the result of my relentless search for very old vines from the Serra de São Mamede, at an altitude of 700 metres. I have been recovering them over the years. It was aged for 8 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy, to preserve the identity of the vineyard.
Grape Varieties: Mixture of traditional grape varieties from Serra de São Mamede
Region: Alentejo
Tasting Notes: The austere nose shows notes of citrus aromas and dry straw. Mineral and very elegant, it offers an enormous complexity of aromas, showing itself to be complex, concentrated and with a firm acidity and tense finish.
Alcohol Content: 12.5% Vol.
