A wine made from a careful selection of grapes from vineyards in the Douro Superior, with notes of black fruit, spices and balsamic notes. Tasting Notes: Very intense, almost opaque colour. It also reveals excellent intensity and aromatic quality, of very ripe red fruits and black plums. Also noteworthy are the spices, such as cinnamon and cloves, balsamic cedar, tobacco box and "sous-bois" combined with very well integrated notes of wood. In the mouth it has a magnificent structure, firm tannins of great quality, balanced by good acidity. Its great intensity and complexity provide an extremely long finish
