Eremitas are three wines from three distinct plots, all of which have in common being in the Douro Superior, with a Mediterranean/continental climate, southern exposure, and schist soil of the Desejosa Formation. However, they present slight differences in rockiness and altitude. Despite being vinified in the same way and with the same variety, the plots produce different wines! This highlights the different "telluric information" that each location conveys. Antão do Deserto – deep soil near a stream, 350 meters above sea level.
