Olho Gordo originates from an old vineyard located at an altitude of around 500 metres with the Serra da Estrela as a backdrop. It is a blend of the region's typical native grape varieties where winemaking intervention is minimal, seeking to convey the characteristics of the terroir and demonstrate the ageing potential of high-altitude wines
